Atlanta, Georgia – Present Day

Songwriter Eden Voss and record executive Blaine Woodson were once lovers, but things ended badly between them years ago. One day out of the blue, Blaine contacts Eden and asks if she would write songs for a new and upcoming singer that he is producing. She would've denied his request, but her ten-year-old nephew needs major surgery and she doesn't have all the funds to cover it. Against her better judgment, she agrees, hoping to maintain a professional relationship with Blaine. Of course, her plans soon go awry because he is the one man who makes her heart go pitter patter.

Blaine feels bad about how things ended with Eden, but it was for the best at the time. When he signed the new singer to the record label, he realized that Eden would be perfect for the project. While he is agreeable to her wanting to keep things businesslike between them, he knows that he won't be able to keep his hands off her. Eden is the one woman who makes him happy, yet their past presents a barrier. As they spend time together, they're soon kissing…and doing much more. With the pressure of the corporation that owns the record company pushing him, will it cause Blaine to screw up things between him and Eden?

Eden and Blaine are reunited in AFTER HOURS REDEMPTION by Kianna Alexander. They once meant the world to each other, but after he helped sabotage her singing career, she retreated to writing songs and feeling hurt that he betrayed her. If she didn't need the money right now, she probably would have rejected his job offer. She had promised her aunt on her deathbed that she would look after her cousin, Ainsley, who is a single mother. A crisis has prompted a need for funds, so she reluctantly accepts Blaine's job offer. It requires that she work with his promising young singer and write ten songs that will be recorded. Eden soon grows to love her job—and begins to fall for Blaine once more.

Working in the recording industry requires a lot of time and money. His company was bought out by another, but he still runs it, though he must report to the company head. As Blaine balances his needs (getting the songs recorded and rekindling his romance with Eden) with keeping his bosses happy, he is soon feeling disgruntled. He could return to his family's business, but does he really want to do that? Meanwhile, as Eden becomes more important to Blaine, he will have to make a decision about the songs that may hurt a lot of feelings—including hers.

Finding love with an old flame isn't always easy, but in AFTER HOURS REDEMPTION, Blaine and Eden walk down that path. Will they find a happily-ever-after? Find out in this intriguing tale.
