Three Rivers Ranch, Arizona – Present Day Bonnie Hollister is sent by her father from Utah to Arizona to research the history of her late great-grandfather. It was only recently discovered that the Utah Hollisters were related to the Arizona Hollisters. Bonnie is picked up at the airport by the ranch’s horse trainer, Mose Martel, and sparks are soon flying between them. But Bonnie is shy and having already lost one boyfriend to her much more outgoing twin, she thinks that she has nothing to offer Mose. Yet they continue to gravitate toward each other. She will be returning home soon, so will they give in to a little romance before she leaves? What if it’s love? Mose and Bonnie both feel they aren’t marriage material, so they have turned their attention away from finding love. Bonnie is shy, and it’s hard to talk to most men, but she finds Mose easy to be around. He respects her and doesn’t push her. But she figures he isn’t interested in her. Yet, he is always there, ready to chat with her and show her around the ranch. It turns out Mose is interested in her, but he has his own hang-ups about love after watching his parents’ marriage implode. So far, he has kept his love life uncomplicated. But Bonnie may make him change his mind. Yet, she still wants to keep their relationship at a safe distance. Too bad they’re falling in love with each other. Meanwhile, Bonnie continues to search for answers about her late great-grandfather. Why did he leave his family in Arizona and relocate to Utah, with no contact anymore? Will Bonnie find the answer, and if so, will it be for good or bad reasons? Will she return to Utah or stay in Arizona? While CHRISTMAS ON THE RANGE takes place near Christmas, the holiday is mostly in the background. The focus is on the burgeoning romance between Bonnie and Mose. As we watch them fall in love, readers will be rooting for two good people to find happiness together forever. Don’t miss CHRISTMAS ON THE RANGE. Patti Fischer |
