| TEMPTATION AT CHRISTMAS – Maureen Child Pacific Ocean – Present Day Cruise line CEO Sam Buchanan hates Christmas and being on a ship during a Christmas themed cruise filled with families should be the last place he wants to be, but here he is. His plans are to occasionally check out the action and spend the rest of his cruise holed up in his luxurious suite. However, while he awaits the ship's departure, he spots his ex-wife, Mia Harper. First, it seems like she's pregnant, but after Sam tracks her down, it turns out that the woman pregnant is her twin, and yes, Mia is also onboard. She claims she needs to talk to him but won't say why. While their breakup was painful, Sam is willing to listen to her. Mia soon informs him that the divorce papers he signed months ago went missing and were never filed, so he needs to sign new ones. Okay, Sam will agree, but in the meantime, the old attraction between them has stirred to life. Mia and Sam first met on a cruise and fell madly in love. They married a year ago and spent last Christmas on their honeymoon, but their marriage only lasted a few months. Sam is dedicated to his job, and Mia got tired of being second in priority for him. While the original misdirected divorce papers are a minor blip in her plans to become single, a more important need is behind her reason to see Sam in person to get his signature on the new documents. Yet, the moment she's around him, sexual desire rises between them.
