Lexi Alexander is a former child actress with a reputation for being a wild child. She is in France at a party hoping to help repair her bad image. The last thing she needs is to cause a scandal. But after Lexi runs into Prince Magnus of Isleif at the party they are attending, her life is thrown into an upheaval. Before the night is over, Lexi and Magnus are hitting the sheets. They agree that it will only be one night, but he does assist her with security issues because he sympathizes with her plight of having to deal with an overzealous stalker. Several months later, Magnus is notified by his assistant that there is a problem. Turns out that Lexi is several months pregnant—and he is the father! Getting pregnant wasn’t the plan for Lexi and Magnus in HIS HIGHNESS’S HIDDEN HEIR, but they will soon become parents. He has to make her his bride, whether she wants it or not. Lex did try to contact him after she realized she was pregnant but was told by his assistant to not contact him again. While Magnus would have liked to continue his fling with Lexi, her bad reputation would have caused a scandal, and his half-sister, Queen Katla, forbade him to contact Lexi again. However, the impending arrival of a royal heir changes everything. With the queen unable to conceive, it will be up to Magnus to provide the future heirs. Lexi wishes she wasn’t in this predicament, but she is looking forward to giving birth. She tries to convince Magnus that they shouldn’t marry but he is insistent. Despite her denials, there is still a sizzling attraction between them. Because time is of the essence, they will have to work on their relationship quickly. After all, they didn’t spend much time together before they landed in bed together. Can they make it work—and fall in love with each other? An intriguing romance with a bad girl (versus the usual bad boy) and a man who will someday be king. There is a connection between them, but they will have to take down their walls and let the other in. Don’t miss HIS HIGHNESS’S HIDDEN HEIR. Patti Fischer |
