An island in the Mediterranean Sea – Present Day

Billionaire CEO Asterion Teras and his twin brother Poseidon are informed by their beloved grandmother that they must marry the woman she chooses for them, or she will disinherit them. Both men are avowed bachelors, so neither are happy about her decree. Asterion learns that he is supposed to marry Brita Maris, whose family once were wealthy but now needs an influx of cash and influence. Brita has refused her family’s past efforts to marry her off and has joined a local convent. But before her final indoctrination into the convent, she is to take a year off to decide if this is what she wants. Then, Asterion shows up, and their attraction is instantaneous. She agrees to marry him.

Brita would rather live in the wild forest of the island among the animals she adores, but of course, she can’t help them without money and her family has squandered her inheritance. Meeting Asterion, her first instinct should be to turn him down, but he interests her. Add in that he has the money she will need for her refuge; she marries him. Brita is as wild as the animals she adores, while Asterion is like a wolf. Their coming together in bed is wild and passionate. But he wants to tame her, which may be impossible because he feeds off her wildness. Asterion has been raised to be in control, but Brita may end up being the one in charge.

A TYCOON TOO WILD TO WED is a bit different from other Harlequin Presents I’ve read. Brita thinks nothing of stripping off her clothes and dancing naked in the wild. Of course, this shocks Asterion. Yet, he soon realizes that he enjoys being around this woman. Love wasn’t supposed to be a part of their marriage, but will it soon envelop them? He fights his growing feelings for her while she lets it all hang out. If Brita professes love for Asterion, will he reject her? Readers will fall in love with Brita for her carefree life. She was willing to walk away from her family and become a nun. Will she now be content to be a wife—and potentially a mother?

A TYCOON TOO WILD TO WED reminds me of a dark gothic romance without a mystery being involved. Asterion came into the marriage with a jaded heart. It will be Brita who will tame him—and you can bet that readers will enjoy having a front-row seat. A sizzling dark romance that hits the right notes, don’t miss A TYCOON TOO WILD TO WED.
