Tennessee – Present Day

Ellen is sick of being treated like Noah Dash's dirty secret. So when she finally decides to end it for good, she calls for a ride, and the new guy is the only one available to pick her up. There's something about the new transfer to the local motorcycle club, the Southern Wolves, that Ellen can't stop thinking about, but he seems turned off at the very sight of her.

Alamo transferred to the Tennessee chapter of the Southern Wolves after leaving a mess back home. Despite being the new guy, living with this group feels right and he fits in well with the guys. Except Dash, who flat out told Alamo that Ellen is spoken for. But try as he might, Alamo doesn't want to let the matter drop. And when his past comes back to haunt him, it's not just Alamo who will suffer.

The second book in the Knights in Black Leather series runs congruently with the story in book one, UNDAUNTED (SEPT 2015). While Zion and Aubrey are working to find their own happiness, Ellen and Alejandro, better known as Alamo, are trying to figure out their own problems. For that reason, the story can be more than a little confusing to those who haven't read the first book.

Since this book features a different side to scenes from the first book as well as its own plotline, the pacing can feel erratic – slow at times, and fast at others. The real love connection between Alamo and Ellen doesn't even start happening until the reader is three-fourths of the way done, and the action at the end felt rushed and more than a little confusing.

No mention of a third book yet, but Dash will more than likely get his own story. So if you like your heroes dark and wild, keep an eye on Ronnie Douglas.
