THE WEDDING DARE – Katherine Garbera Nantucket Island, Massachusetts – Present Day TV producer Quinn Murray is attending the wedding of a friend on Nantucket Island, knowing that she will run into her ex-boyfriend, Logan Bisset. The families of the bride and groom recently found out they are intertwined, and no one is happy about it, especially Logan. Turns out Logan is the half-brother of the groom, while Logan’s cousin (by marriage) is the bride. The two families have to pretend to get along for the sake of the happy couple. In THE WEDDING DARE, the family dynamics are complicated, with several different characters involved. This tale has the feel of a soap opera and is told from several characters’ viewpoints. Logan has secretly undermined the groom, Nick Williams, in a business deal, and readers wonder how that will play out. Quinn does indeed run into Logan shortly after she arrives. The sparks they had in college are soon reignited. They agree upon one night together to “scratch the itch,” though they are still thinking about each other once morning arrives. But things are about to get even more complicated for Logan when he learns that the woman whom he thought was his mother…isn’t. A complicated but intriguing tale, be sure to not miss the drama or the sensual interplay between Quinn and Logan by grabbing a copy of THE WEDDING DARE. |
