Nantucket Island, Massachusetts – Present Day

TV producer Quinn Murray is attending the wedding of a friend on Nantucket Island, knowing that she will run into her ex-boyfriend, Logan Bisset. The families of the bride and groom recently found out they are intertwined, and no one is happy about it, especially Logan. Turns out Logan is the half-brother of the groom, while Logan’s cousin (by marriage) is the bride. The two families have to pretend to get along for the sake of the happy couple. In THE WEDDING DARE, the family dynamics are complicated, with several different characters involved. This tale has the feel of a soap opera and is told from several characters’ viewpoints. Logan has secretly undermined the groom, Nick Williams, in a business deal, and readers wonder how that will play out.

Quinn does indeed run into Logan shortly after she arrives. The sparks they had in college are soon reignited. They agree upon one night together to “scratch the itch,” though they are still thinking about each other once morning arrives. But things are about to get even more complicated for Logan when he learns that the woman whom he thought was his mother…isn’t.

What transpires next throws the anticipated wedding into turmoil, as well as leaving Logan spiraling out of control. Quinn is there as head of a production team to film the wedding and the last thing she needs is to have it go off the rails. As she races to try and help salvage things, her rekindled relationship with Logan is thrown off the bridge. Quinn realizes she loves Logan, but can she save both from disaster?

At times in THE WEDDING DARE, it got confusing as to who was who and who belonged to which family, with Logan and Quinn’s story woven in between. I won’t reveal the big secret that comes out and threatens to upend the wedding, but it might have you shaking your head as it did mine. The coincidences! As for Logan and Quinn, they were in love in college but ended things. Too young to be in love with the idea of commitment. But now both are in their thirties. Will they be able to make things work again? Alas, outside forces—and the imploding scandal around them—may work against them. There’s no question that they are compatible in bed, but each have different career paths, and Logan’s life has been altered by all that he learns in Nantucket.

A complicated but intriguing tale, be sure to not miss the drama or the sensual interplay between Quinn and Logan by grabbing a copy of THE WEDDING DARE.
