Kauai, Hawaii & Bled, Slovenia – Present Day Anika Pierce is in Hawaii to attend a Hospitality and Tourism conference and the last person she wants to see is tycoon Nicholas Lassard. She owns a small hotel on the lakeshore of Bled, Slovenia and he is building an exclusive resort hotel right next door—and he wants her property.
