Divio – Present Day

To protect her sister who did not want to marry Crown Prince Lyon, Princess Beaugonia “Beau” Rendall started a conversation via email with Lyon by offering herself as the substitute bride. Sight unseen, he invites her to his palace to marry him. Beau’s responsibilities are simple. She will marry Lyon, act as a proper wife and princess, and bear him at least one heir. After a lifetime in the shadows due to her panic attacks, this is a big step for her. Meeting Lyon, she is intrigued by how handsome the prince is, and yet, he is cold. They marry that day, but she lets him know that she is a virgin. He suggests that because they barely know each other they not embark on a sexual relationship and work on it while on a honeymoon at a remote vacation home. It will be just the two of them. Will they find love and a possible happily ever after?

Life hasn’t been easy for Beau due to her panic attacks. Her father sees them as a sign of weakness, which is why he made her twin sister, Zia, the heir to their country’s throne. But Zia balked at marrying Lyon, so she ran off and then fell in love with another man. Zia is now pregnant with twins and Beau will do whatever it takes to protect her sister—even marry a stranger. Things are awkward between Lyon and Beau at first. It doesn’t help that she has been crucified all her life by her father into believing she is unfit as a royal. Now she is married to a man who will be king. She keeps her panic attacks secret from Lyon, but that may prove to be a mistake if he learns about them.

As for Lyon, he has his own issues. His mother is cruel and only thinks about doing the proper thing. Marrying a woman who might be beneath their family? Unthinkable! It doesn’t help that his family history is filled with males who turned out to be unfit to run the country. By law, only men can ascend the throne. Lyon is being groomed to be king, but will Beau be the right woman to be his queen? He soon discovers that he is sexually attracted to Beau but questions his feelings. Should he try and keep things almost businesslike between them? Sex only to conceive a child and nothing more? Let’s see how that works out!

PRINCESS BRIDE SWAP is an intriguing tale with a mind war going on between Beau and Lyon. Both want to do the right thing, but maybe they should look beneath the surface and realize how perfect they are together. Hopefully, love will find this couple. For a tale that keeps you enthralled, don’t miss PRINCESS BRIDE SWAP.
