A Wine Country Romance

Ribbon Ridge, Oregon, the Present

Harley Miller-Jones has always loved art. She began drawing very young, kept on when she could and was lucky enough to have a teacher who could teach and encourage her. To Harley, the ideal subject to practice on was and still is a beautiful old Victorian house on a hill above her home. She drew it from every angle, then, as she grew, she was able to market her drawings and designs. With income from that and waitressing jobs, Harley planned to buy a house suitable to turn into a Bed and Breakfast. Then she would adopt the unwanted baby a friend is expecting. It meant leaving Seattle and moving back to her home town. She only hopes she never runs into the love of her life who broke her heart when he married another. Meanwhile, fate intervenes.

Jack Friestatt and Harley were inseparable since they were children, much to the dismay of his snooty mother who has run his life and the family wine grape farms and distillery since after her husband died. She was glad when Jack had to wed the pregnant Emily. The family, including his mother, moved to New Zealand planning to stay long enough to grow new grapes to make a new wine, thus adding to the business. Now Emily is dead from an accident and Jack's eleven year-old twin girls need a mother. It's time to move back to Oregon. While he wonders if he will meet Harley again, his mother has plans . . .

RIGHT ALL ALONG has a suspenseful and interesting plot and a variety of characters. Yet while Harley is admirable, Jack is not a typical romance hero. Will he ever grow his backbone enough to stand up to his domineering mother? Read it and see.
