Elm Springs – Present Day

Charlie Ward is a professional soprano but has been unable to perform professionally after the untimely death of her brother, Tom. Since she is unemployed, it is left to Charlie to escort her grandmother to the retirement center, where she will be living, and left up to Charlie to clear out the family house to get it ready to sell. Upon arrival at the retirement center, she runs into Julian Guerrero, a guy she once spent a day with. Nothing went beyond that day. He is the center’s activities director, and he feels a bit harried at times. The elderly people can keep him on his toes. After Charlie and her grandmother start singing with a group of other residents at the center, Julian has an idea. Charlie can be the temporary music director. She agrees, but then things start to heat up when Julian suggests that they form a choir group to win a cash prize that could help fund the center’s activities. With Charlie and Julian now working closer together, the attraction between them begins to heat up. 

THE BEST CHRISTMAS CHOIR EVER is a fun little tale with a little bit of Christmas sprinkled in. Charlie misses Tom a lot as they were not only close, but they were also both performers. While she hopes to get back into performing, she has had a bit of stage fright. She isn’t too happy to be back in Elm Springs since it means staying in a town she’d rather forget, especially with the memories of Tom that still linger. But her gram is moving into the retirement center, and her parents are too busy to come. Running into Julian takes her back to their time together. He didn’t exactly leave a good impression on Charlie. But he is earnest about his job at the center, and the residents love him. She soon can see why. 

Since this is a romantic comedy, this means we have an interesting group of characters. Gram sneakily tries to bring Charlie and Julian together. The other people at the center are intriguing and entertaining. There are too many to name. Turns out quite a few can sing, and after making a video of the choir singing, it goes viral on the internet. Which is kind of cool, especially when it attracts the attention of someone in New York who might be interested in Charlie signing onto a production. But only if she comes now. What will she decide?

Meanwhile, the attraction between Charlie and Julian gets hotter and hotter. They are soon kissing…and more. As they fall in love, things start to get a little dicey. Charlie still plans to leave town after Christmas, while Julian will be staying in Elm Springs. Will they decide to split just as they are finding love together? Will the choir win the big prize at the competition?

You will fall in love with THE BEST CHRISTMAS CHOIR EVER, as it is an entertaining tale right from the start. This is why I am giving it a Perfect 10. Don’t miss picking this up.
