Present Day Seattle and Cloud Lake, Washington

At the age of sixteen, Grace Elland suffered a horrific experience that has affected her life. She hops from job to job and has no permanence in her personal relationships other than her mother and sister. Now, just as she has finally found a career she is happy with as the marketing and social media specialist for successful self-help guru Sprague Witherspoon, her world comes crashing down again. She goes to her boss's home one day to see why he failed to come to work…and finds him dead in bed. Not only has the old nightmare come back to haunt her, but she's on the list of suspects for Sprague's murder. Just as bad, she starts getting emails every evening sent from the dead man's account.

Ten days later, help comes to Grace as a result of a blind date set up by her best friend and her husband. Julius Arkwright is an ex Marine who has made a fortune as a venture capitalist. He's immediately captivated by Grace and soon designates himself as her bodyguard.

What follows is a superb mystery with a complex plot and a fascinating relationship between two likable people whose dialogue sparkles. Add in a large cast of well done characters, many with hidden motivations, and we have romance, mystery and suspense. In other words, a Perfect 10 of a book.

Seattle, and Cloud Lake, Washington - Present Day

Finding the murdered body of her boss means that Grace Elland is out of a job.  With the exception of the past eighteen months helping motivational speaker Sprague Witherspoon promote the Witherspoon Way, Grace has held too many jobs for not long enough, so she decides to return to her hometown to try to figure out her future.  Discovering her boss's body has also meant a return of the nightmares from a similar event in her teens, and being back home has helped with that as well.  Between the eerie messages from Witherspoon's e-mail account that have been arriving since his death, and needing to find a new job, Grace has enough on her plate.  But her best friend has set her up on the most awkward of blind dates.

Venture capitalist Julius Arkwright may have agreed to the blind date with Grace to help out his buddy Devlin, but from the moment he sees her, Julius is intrigued.  Not since before his divorce has he been this interested in a woman, but it's obvious there are things happening in her life that she may need help with.  As the chief of police in Cloud Lake, his friend Dev has been kept up to date on the investigation into Witherspoon's murder, and has asked for Julius' take on Grace.  What Julius learns though, is that Grace is being stalked, possibly by the killer and, as improbable as it seems, there's some connection to the murder Grace stumbled across as a teen. He's always been a protective person, but the more Julius gets to know Grace, the more personal his desire to watch over her becomes.

An intriguing mystery, TRUST NO ONE brings together two people who seemingly couldn't be more different.  Grace is a true believer in the power of positive thinking and lives her life by the daily affirmations she helped to create for her boss.  Julius on the other hand believes in two rules: Trust no one and Everyone has an agenda.  Yet, the attraction they feel for each other is impossible to ignore, and as it becomes clear that someone is truly out to get Grace, things between the two heat up.  There are plenty of suspects in the murder of Witherspoon, and as the investigation continues, Grace is surprised time and again by the things she didn't know about her boss and even her co-workers.  Is it possible that one of the people she thought of as a friend is out to get her?  Pick up the riveting TRUST NO ONE to find out.
