Call him a fool, but he's moving here in the direct hope of touching base once again with Charlotte Morgan. Even though they broke off their relationship just over a year ago, he still has feelings for her. Jax thinks they could have worked it out, but Charlotte was determined to stay in the city rather than marry a man who craved the small town life she left behind. When he learns she recently left her job, he knows she'll head home to Mustang Creek, and he hopes to rekindle their romance.

She can't start up again with Jax; she has a big city career, and she does not want to spend her life taking care of children and baking cookies! And the fun is only beginning. When Charlotte and Jax cross paths with Millicent Klozz and her special brand of magic and mistletoe, romance can't help but have a home in their hearts.
