Talent agent Kendall Squire recently took over the agency accounts belonging to her now-retired boss, but it has been tough going as clients have “fired” her. But Kendall doesn’t make it after her GPS gives her the wrong instructions. Instead, she ends up off the road. On foot, Kendall makes it to the only place she knows, Max’s cabin. He opens the door and invites her in to spend the night because now the snowstorm is a blizzard. They are going to be stranded together for a few days. During their time together, will Kendall be able to convince Max to do the commercial? Will the attraction that’s bubbling between them lead to the bedroom?

I must admit that I am a sucker for romances that feature a couple stranded together and MILLION-DOLLAR MIX-UP doesn’t disappoint. Max and Isaac appeared on a long-running television show where they share the role of the youngest child. But by the time the show ended, Max hated the role and acting. He took the money he made and built a home in the remote mountains of Virginia. The town even now bears his name. Kendall’s request that he pretend to be Isaac hits a nerve as it brings back the painful memories of his teenage years. He’s adamant to Kendall that he won’t give in. She’s desperate to get him to agree because her career rides on it. But it doesn’t stop the rising attraction between them. As they get to know one another, it doesn’t take long before they’re sharing kisses…and more.

Despite being stranded in Max’s cabin they can drive into the nearby town of Dunn. It’s there that Kendall learns how well respected he is. Meanwhile, she’s anxious for her car to get repaired so she can get back to California—or find Isaac to try to convince him again to take the commercial job. Then, an opportunity is handed to her. Will it work—or blow up in her face?
