| Royal, Texas – Present Day Wedding planner Rylee Meadows only wants the perfect—and private—wedding for her superstar couple. But the threat of bad boy wedding crasher Patrick “Trick” MacArthur disrupting the wedding has her feeling on edge. After learning that Trick is already in town, Rylee decides to take the bull by the horns and tracks him down. She has an offer that should be too good to turn down. She will offer him a behind-the-scenes opportunity to take photographs but asks that he not photograph the wedding itself. Luckily, Trick agrees. Trick is a notorious wedding crasher with lots of followers on his social media accounts. But crashing weddings are a no-no for most people, even though he’s had fun conversing with partygoers. Rylee’s uptight attitude about his plans for the exclusive wedding should amuse him, but he is starting to like the pretty wedding planner. As they begin to get to know each other, Trick and Rylee are discovering an attraction that shouldn’t be there. Yet, there’s no denying that there’s passion, and soon, there may be a scandal brewing if the word gets out about the affair between Rylee and Trick. Rylee has already had one bad experience with a man in her life, so one can understand why she’s wary about commitment and marriage. She was so good at planning events for friends that she kind of fell into wedding planning and she enjoys it. But the last thing she needs is Trick to crash the “wedding of the year.” She figures she is being proactive by intercepting him before the wedding and offering an alternative. Trick turns out to be helpful as Rylee makes the final preparations, plus his videos and commentary on social media increase the anticipation. What she didn’t expect was their mutual attraction. Getting involved with Trick could complicate her reputation as a wedding planner, though Trick insists this will be his last wedding crashing episode. Can she trust him? There is plenty of hot chemistry brewing between Rylee and Trick in THE MAN SHE LOVES TO HATE.
