Layla is the middle daughter and doesn’t expect to inherit any of the land, but it is her family’s birthright. Meanwhile, her relationship with Joshua heats up, and they find themselves making love. He indicates he wants more from their fling, but will he soon tire of living in Royal? What Layla doesn’t know is that Joshua wants to return to Royal and build a new life there. Yet, he can’t communicate this to her, especially with her family drama going on that divides her attention.
