Dallas, Texas area – Present Day

For several years, neighboring ranchers Tony Milan and Lindsay Calhoun have had a running feud. But at a charity auction one night where a date with Tony is auctioned off, it's Lindsay who “wins” him. While surprised at her actions, he's even more surprised when he gets a look at the stunning beauty who is all dressed up. Tony is practically drooling in his lust. Their date goes off with a bang…and a night in bed. In fact, the sex is so good they hate for it to end, because they both know that once it does, they'll have to go back to being battling neighbors.

Lindsay was bidding on Tony because she needed to talk to him about how he is managing to keep water flowing during the ongoing drought. Trying to talk to him as his neighbor only gets her thrown off his land, so having dinner is the only way she can get his attention. What she didn't expect was the sizzling attraction that develops between them and their ending up in bed together before the night ends.  In fact, neither Lindsay nor Tony wants their fling to end. Is there any chance of a relationship working out between the two of them?

There is bad history between the Milan and Calhoun families and, as fate would have it, Tony and Lindsay end up with ranches next to each other, which only continues the feud. There is a drought going on and she doesn't know how much longer she can hang on, yet Tony doesn't appear to be affected. The only way she can figure out why is cornering him, which is what she's after when she bids on him at the auction. Yet, one night together barely scratches the itch. Lindsay is not into commitments because the last thing she wants is to be told by a domineering man how to run her ranch. Tony certainly is the take charge type, so he is not someone she wants to even think about getting involved with. But the sex between them is super hot…

In THAT NIGHT WITH THE RICH RANCHER, it's only the start of the affair between Lindsay and Tony. They try to avoid each other, but it's hard to do when they're craving each other. But an oops moment soon promises to tie them together for the foreseeable future.  Can they come to a satisfactory decision and work things out, and end the Calhoun/Milan family feud? Part of the Lone Star Legends series by Sara Orwig, THAT NIGHT WITH THE RICH RANCHER can be read as a standalone without too much difficulty, even though their respective families pop in and out of various scenes. The family might have a longstanding feud, but they're beginning to blend into one big happy family.

A sexy romance of a couple who start out disliking each other and soon find themselves falling for each other, THAT NIGHT WITH THE RICH RANCHER is a tale I highly recommend.
