New York City & Athens, Greece – Present Day

Greek magnate Apollo Galanis blames Jay Shetty for his father dying after the man forced the ruin of the Galanis company. Apollo’s plan for revenge after putting Jay Shetty into a corner is to marry the eldest Shetty daughter with the agreement that after three years, she will sign over her shares to him, which would then give him control of the company. He really isn’t looking forward to marrying Rina, but it has to be done. Arriving home one night, he discovers the other Shetty daughter, Jia, sleeping in his penthouse. She is there to make an alternate offer to Apollo.

Jia has spent most of her time the past few years protecting Rina, so she will do anything to get her away from Apollo. This includes marrying the man himself. Jia isn’t a typical beautiful woman because she has tattoos and is a bit of a waif. But it turns out she can offer Apollo something even more to help him with his revenge: her skill in architecture. She loves her sister, but her father is just a horrible man. Is she plotting revenge just as Apollo is? He agrees to marry Jia—and it may have more to do with the fact that he finds her intriguing.

Once they are wed, Apollo gives Jia some space. But after he discovers that she was injured by her brother, he whisks her away to Greece. He knows that will mean he introduces her to his family, but he puts it off. Instead, she gets involved in his company and proves to be invaluable with her architectural skills. The more Apollo is around Jia, the more impressed he is with her. They still haven’t consummated their marriage, but the desire is there. Will their sexual attraction soon boil over into the bedroom?

Jia is smart and has tried to remain independent during her adult years because her childhood was difficult. She barely gets along with her father, but Rina is important to her, especially since her sister has found a man she loves and wants to marry. Rina was too meek to turn down Apollo’s marriage proposition, so Jia had to step in. Apollo proves to be supportive of Jia and she soon lets her hair down. Once they settle into married life, there is still stiffness between them. After all, she is aware of his plans for revenge. Once she has given him the shares, will he send her away? Slowly and surely, Jia is falling for her husband, especially as he continues to show kindness toward her.

CONTRACTUALLY WED is an intriguing tale about a couple brought together with revenge on their minds. Their romance is as sweet as it is sensual. Readers will enjoy Jia and Apollo’s journey as they explore their path to happiness. Don’t miss this lovely tale.
