Contemporary Romance Big Sky, Montana – Present Day As a realtor to the rich and famous in Los Angeles, Danica Brand thought her life was perfect—until she discovered that her fiancé cheated on her. He didn’t see anything wrong with what he did, but Danica needed to get away, so she returned home to her family in Big Sky, Montana for a visit. Shortly after arriving and getting reacquainted with her sisters, Danica runs into Dr. Matteo Katz, who is currently billed as the town’s most eligible bachelor. He also owns a beloved pet pig named Lulu, and Danica is soon falling for both. However, she isn’t sure where her life is going now, while Matteo is looking for marriage and a family. Will their romance be over before it can barely get off the ground? Meanwhile, in a secondary plot, romance writer Journey arrives in Big Sky and is staying at the Brand rental property. She is stuck on completing her next romance novel after reading too many bad reviews of her first book. However, cowboy Cody is giving her ideas. Neither are looking for love, but Cupid may have other ideas. Both Danica and Journey are going through a tough time now but in BIG SKY BACHELOR, they may have found their true love. Danica had her life planned out, including children, but her fiancé got ahead of her by having an affair with an office assistant and getting her pregnant. He is an awful person to Danica as she tries to untangle their years together. Montana is the perfect place to lick her wounds, and Matteo is the right man for her to get into what she sees as a safe romance. That is until she realizes he wants more than a fling. He’s not trying to push her, but she must be fair to him. After all, she might decide to return to California. Journey is a single mother to a ten-year-old boy and he, along with her mother, will be joining them soon in Montana for a few weeks of vacation. In the meantime, she needs to get started on her next writing project or she will just be a one-hit wonder in the publishing business. Cody intrigues her and she soon learns more about him. But how could he, a cowboy who could attract any woman, be interested in her? Journey just might be surprised… I would classify BIG SKY BACHELOR as a sweet romance as the lovemaking is behind closed doors. It’s clear Danica comes to care for Matteo, but she has to deal with her future first. For Journey, she has to overcome her fears of writing and her fear of falling in love. Will these two women find love—and a future with the men they fall in love with? Find out the answer by picking up a copy of BIG SKY BACHELOR. Patti Fischer |
