Hideaway Ranch, Montana – Present Day

For months, horse trainer Ritza Castillo has hidden the fact that she believes she is the daughter of the late Butch Brand. In fact, the triplet ladies who employ her may be her half-sisters. She needs to find the proof before she approaches them. It’s nearly Christmas, and widower Lane McBride arrives at the Hideaway Ranch for a family vacation with his two daughters. They will soon be leaving home, and Lane wants to use the holidays to get closer to them. To both Ritza and Lane’s surprise, they remember meeting many years ago at a rodeo. They clicked back then, but nothing came of it. Now they have a chance to pick up where they left off.

BIG SKY SLEIGH BELLS is a bit of a different tale for a series romance, as the heroine and hero are both in their fifties. Lane is wealthy and has endured years of watching his mother marry man after man for their money. Ritza grew up in a loving home but became aware that the man who raised her was not her biological father. Coming to Montana, she hopes to uncover the truth of her parentage and meet her half-siblings. The triplets, Charlie, Danny, and Ray, were nice to her. How can she just blurt out what she knows about their father when she doesn’t have the proof?

Meanwhile, Lane is keeping Ritza busy as he woos her, though the intention is friendship at this point. After all, his life is not in Montana, and she is entrenched on the ranch and loves it there. The vacation was a last-minute hope to connect with his daughters before they leave the nest. It turns out that they like Ritza, too, and are soon plotting to put them together. Of course, Lane likes it, especially when he goes out horse riding with Ritza. On one such ride, they stumble across an old sleigh, which is recovered and restored to its original glory. Hence the title of this tale. The more the two are around each other, the more they’re falling in love. Can they hope for a future together? Or will they go their separate ways once the holidays are over? What about Ritza’s link to the Brand family? Will she find what she needs to prove to them she is a Brand, and will they accept her?

A tale for the holidays as love finds a couple with the spirit of Christmas all around them. Will they get their happily ever after? Don’t miss the answer by grabbing a copy of BIG SKY SLEIGH BELLS.
