Shelter Springs, Idaho – Present Day

Holly Moore is a busy single mom caring for her daughter, Lydia, who has Down's Syndrome, and running her florist shop. Christmas is fast approaching, as is the wedding of her former sister-in-law, who asked Lydia to be the flower girl. Holly is naturally apprehensive about Lydia being part of the wedding, so she is grateful she will be there, providing the flowers. But her ex-husband will also be there, and their relationship is not the best, especially since he cheated on her with his current wife. Meanwhile, she is taking care of the daughter of one of her employees who is currently in a rehab center. The girl’s uncle is coming to temporarily take care of the girl, Audrey.

Ryan Caldwell has never been to Shelter Springs, but here he is now, taking care of Audrey. He is a career Navy man, currently on leave after an accident. He arrives at the flower shop and meets Holly, Lydia, and Audrey. There is a clear affection between the three. Holly also proves to be kind and helpful. As Ryan settles into life in Shelter Springs, he starts becoming close to Holly. After her sister comes to him and asks him to accompany Holly to the wedding as her plus one, he agrees to ask her. They agree that they will pretend to be in a relationship, one that will end after he leaves town. But slowly and surely, Holly and Ryan are falling in love with each other.

In SNOW KISSED, readers will watch Holly and Ryan fall in love during the holidays. Her marriage fell apart after Lydia was born, leaving Holly protective of her. Her ex rarely makes the trip to Idaho from Oregon to see his daughter, but he will be there for his sister’s wedding. Holly is a bit apprehensive because she doesn’t want Lydia hurt. Audrey is wonderful with Lydia, who has turned out to be helpful as a babysitter. Ryan’s arrival is a pleasant distraction as Holly welcomes him to Shelter Springs. His father and stepmother also live in town, but he doesn’t get along with his father due to what happened after his mother died. Will they start to make amends in this tale?

SNOW KISSED is a feel-good tale that leaves you warm and cozy. In Shelter Springs, everyone knows everyone, and strangers are met with friendliness. Holly has a good support system, as her family and friends help her out. She just doesn’t have time to date, especially with Lydia’s needs. Ryan is wonderful with Lydia, which endears him even more to Holly. He ends up helping her when she needs some deliveries done, and she helps him with Audrey. They are like a blended family. While Holly hates to attend the wedding alone, she does accept Ryan’s offer. He's a nice guy, and he will be leaving once his sister is back. No strings will be attached to their relationship. But as they grow closer, love is blooming. He has a job to return to in San Diego, while her life is in Idaho.

Readers will be rooting for Holly and Ryan to fall in love and have a future together. It won’t be easy because both are stubborn. But in SNOW KISSED, there just may be a chance for them. Don’t miss this holiday-filled romance.
