It was during this time that she agreed to marry Levi. She loved him, but felt she didn't deserve happiness, so rather than face her demons and confide in her fiancé, she broke off their engagement and left, vowing to never return to Boston. Now an EMT, Tanna recently was at the scene of an accident that brought back painful memories of her own accident and was put on leave to deal with her PTSD. Returning to Boston for a visit was a way to help deal with it—and to mend the fences between her and Levi. But has too much happened for them to reach any kind of happy reunion? Levi himself suffered enough and he isn't sure that he can trust Tanna.

Even though she is a wealthy heiress, Tanna trained for a job as an EMT and lived frugally.
