Florence Clare and Hades Achelleos have been business rivals for years as they compete for the same bids. But for the past ten years, they have been secret lovers. Their rivalry was cemented as children when their fathers competed against each other, to the point that both men instilled in their children not to trust the other. However, that didn’t stop Florence from seeking out Hades on her eighteenth birthday and cajoling him into making love to her. The passion was so good between them that they kept it going off and on through the years. If the public knew about it, they would go wild and crucify them. Enemies making love, not war! But things have suddenly changed between them. Shortly after their latest secret tryst, Florence learns that Hades is engaged. She is furious and vows to never see him again, except when she confronts him about it. They end up making love in his office, and weeks later, just as he is about to go down the aisle, Florence discovers she is pregnant.

Oh, what a tangled weave—and mess—for Florence and Hades in PREGNANT ENEMY, CHRISTMAS BRIDE. They clearly are attracted to each other but have let hatred between their fathers keep them apart despite the men now being dead. To the public, they are enemies, but behind closed doors, they are hot for each other. How will Hades react to learning he is about to become a father? As the title suggests, it’s about to be a Christmas wedding. Marrying Hades wasn’t something Florence thought would happen, but she wouldn’t say no. Could it be because she is in love with him? Love has never been spoken between them, yet it’s clear they do care for each other. Unfortunately, their parents haven’t been good role models for a happy marriage. He was only going to marry another woman to abide by the terms of his father’s will. Hades felt Florence would be off limits, especially since she didn’t want to get caught in the marriage go-round like her mother.

Once the secret is out and Hades and Florence spend time together on their honeymoon, the gloves come off. Oh, not in a bad way. Time alone is spent talking about their lives growing up and why marriage was never really in their plans. But as the days together lengthen, will falling in love with each other be on the cards? Their relationship has always been complicated, and in PREGNANT ENEMY, CHRISTMAS BRIDE, life may be easier for them if they give in to love. They certainly have sexual chemistry. Find out if they do end up together for a lifetime by picking up a copy of this tale.
