The Yearning - Hannah Howell
Scotland - 1000 A.D. and 1435

Generations of Galt women have died alone and unloved, but Lady Sophie Hay is determined that she will not be one of them. When she finds a scroll left behind by an ancestor long forgotten, Sophie is certain she’s found the reason her family has never been able to die happy; they are suffering the effects of a curse that was cast against another family, the MacCordys. Resolved to undo the curse, Sophie heads for the MacCordy estate.

Sir Alpin MacCordy thinks Sophie both bold and beautiful, but he’s certain the stubborn woman has no chance of defeating the curse she insists has doomed his family and her own. But he’ll allow the lass to try her hand; certainly she can do no worse than any of the others who have tried over the years.

Can Sophie prove Alpin wrong, or will his belief that hope is useless be proven true?

Desire, passion, true love, and destiny combine to make this classic short story a tale readers are sure to enjoy.

A Hell Of A Time - Jackie Kessler
Hell on Earth Series
New York City, New York and the Catskill Mountains - Present Day

Jesse Harris, former succubus and current exotic dancer, is addicted to just one thing, or rather, one person in her new life as a human, her boyfriend Paul.

Paul Hamilton, cop and lover of doughnuts (yeah it’s a cliché, but hey, all clichés have truth at their core) is Jesse’s true love. But as much as he adores her, her infernal past has a way of complicating their lives.

All the two of them want to do is enjoy a romantic getaway in the Catskills, but it seems someone, or something, doesn’t have the same idea. A beautiful cabin set in an idyllic spot might seem like Heaven, but this week-end it’s closer to Hell.

If you’ve never met Jesse and Paul, you’re sure to seek out the two previous books in the Hell on Earth series after reading this story; if you have met them, boy are you in for some surprises.

City Of Demons - Richelle Mead
Georgina Kincaid Series
Washington and Los Angeles, California - Present day

Georgina Kincaid is a lesser immortal, a succubus to be exact. You might think being a minion of Hell means she’s completely evil, but you’d be wrong. Not only does Georgina still feel love (like for her human boyfriend Seth), but she also still possesses a strong sense of right and wrong. Such strength of character should make her the perfect choice to sub for her boss on a Tribunal looking to pick which of three immortals killed a lesser demon, but no, it just puts her, and Seth, in the crosshairs of some very nasty immortals.

Can Georgina fight the good fight (weird as it is to say that about a succubus, but, there you go, life is weird) as well as maintain the relationship she and Seth have fought so hard for, or will evil (really bad evil, not Georgina’s brand) triumph?

Featuring an unusual heroine and her stud muffin (okay, only in dreams, the whole life draining thing kind of precludes any actual stud experiences) this story is certain to make you seek out future (and past) Georgina Kincaid books.

Bitten - Lynsay Sands
Scotland - somewhere between 1700 and the late 1800's

For over two hundred years, Sir Keeran MacKay has suffered the curse of being a nightwalker, more commonly referred to as a vampire. When he comes to a desperate soul’s rescue, saving Lady Emily Wentworth Collins from drowning in the ocean, he never expects that she’ll do her best to return the favor; first saving his castle from ruin, and then breathing life back into his cold and lonely heart. But Keeran is determined not to drag the winsome beauty into his dark and tormented existence. Can Emily convince him that where there is love, beauty and sunshine survive, even if only in their minds, or will Keeran push her away once and for all?

An honorable man and a stubborn woman...fate may be fickle, but in this case, it’s most kind when it introduces these two lovely characters to one another, and to readers as well.

Hannah Howell and Lynsay Sands have contributed two classic tales (first released in HIS IMMORTAL EMBRACE, 2003) to this enchanting anthology, and Jackie Kessler and Richelle Mead’s new stories fit well with them making ETERNAL LOVER a book that shouldn’t be missed. All four authors are sure to have legions of fans joining the ranks of all those who have already discovered that when any of them releases a book, it should immediately be purchased. Don’t miss ETERNAL LOVER, arriving in bookstores soon.
