Cape Light, Somewhere in New England - Present Day

Molly Willoughby Harding has worked hard building her successful catering business. Her relationship with her nearly-new husband, Matt, and their daughters is wonderful and almost perfect. But when Molly discovers that she's pregnant again, all of her hopes and aspirations end. She feels as if all her determination to succeed will come crashing down with a new baby in the household, not to mention tie her down all over again for years to come. And when Matt decides to take on a new partner, it's another woman who just happens to be Matt's ex-lover. And this is the straw that sends things from bad to worse. Top all this sudden change off with the escalating Christmas season, and Molly's perfectly ordered world collapses.

Miranda Potter is walking through the snow in her orchard when her dog finds an unconscious man. Against well-meaning advice, she brings the stranger she now calls Adam back home after his visit to a hospital. An out-of-work actress, Miranda is awaiting a call for a part in a new theater production. Until then, she's crafting jewelry at home that she sells to local stores. But her all consuming project now is Adam. Miranda is determined to help him regain his lost memory, causing her to neglect her boyfriend and everything else.

While cleaning a storeroom, Reverend Ben and Carl Tulley find the wooden angel inside an old packing crate. Ben decides the best place to show off its ethereal beauty is on a pedestal inside the church. Now his church becomes the hottest tourist attraction in the area. The Christmas season is always busy during the worship services, but now the church is overflowing with hordes of visitors. Word has spread like wildfire that the angel statue has hidden powers. People are flocking to Cape Light just for a chance to touch the statue. But Reverend Ben believes he should remove the angel and hide her away again. He wrestles with his heart and his duty. He's sure that a presumed miracle is not the proper catalyst for sudden leaps of faith.

A CHRISTMAS VISITOR brings us back to the small town of Cape Light. This charming story is a reunion with old characters and an introduction to new ones. We visit many old friends: Mayor Emily Warwick; Lillian Warwick; Nurse Lucy Bates and her husband Charlie, and Sheriff Tucker. Other secondary characters are Molly and Matt's daughters, Lauren, Jillian and Amanda; Molly's realtor friend, Betty Bowman; Grandma Sophie, and Reverend Ben. This book stands alone, and is the eighth in The Cape Light Series. (The titles and release dates can be found at www.amazon.com ).

For a truly pleasant holiday read, join the extended family this Christmas in the town of Cape Light!
