Savannah, Georgia - Present Day

An assassin in both his human and now immortal life, Reaper is a loner who has been charged with the destruction of a rogue vampire who is building an army of drones. Not human, yet not quite fully vampire, the drones are leaving a path of death and destruction too large not to be noticed by humans. As Reaper sets off in pursuit, however, one of the Chosen whom he is connected to is in mortal danger. Seth has long dreamed of a woman he feels is his destiny. Recently, the dreams have taken a vicious turn, and he knows that she is in extreme danger. While he doesn’t understand the connection he has to her, Seth knows that it is up to him to save her. When he and Reaper seek the help of a healer to find their enemy, Roxanne is able to provide the name of the woman who has been conned out of a fortune by the rogue leader’s lieutenant, and insists on accompanying the pair. Roxy knows some of Reaper’s secrets and knows of the extreme danger that he and Seth are in. When they find Topaz, her need for vengeance against her con man lover finds her along for the ride. She won’t tell them where the rogues are, but she will give them directions on the ride there. The final member of their group will be the rogue’s captive, and Seth’s dream girl, Vixen, who has some secrets of her own.

Other characters adding to the melee are Briar, a vicious vampire who believes in the wrong man; Jack Heart, the con man lieutenant who finds out that things aren’t what he assumed them to be; and Gregor, the rogue leader whose secret agenda will betray everyone.

DEMON’S KISS is an all-out good time. Confident, strong, and lonely, Reaper has always been sure of who he is and what he does until he acquires a unit bent on making him more. Seth is a classic hero ready to save the world and is suddenly rocked by revelations that he never believed possible. Multiple romances spring up providing heart, surprises, and twists to the story. Superb characterization, writing, and plotting make this a real page-turner, and moments of great humor and suspense keep interest high. This first story in a new trilogy works on every level and will have you eagerly awaiting the next tale. DEMON’S KISS is a highly recommended winner that is not to be missed.
