Daphne has her suspicions about this new terrorist group, and also the sudden influx of vampire hunters storming the city. Is it possible that her one-time lover Darius is behind both of these things?

Like fine wine, the Darkwing Chronicles just get better and better. UNDER DARKNESS has it all: action, suspense and, of course, love and lust in the time of vampires. Though still smarting from her breakup with Fitz, Daphne is looking to fill the void he left, but one-night stands no longer hold any interest for her. Besides, she's still hung up on Darius, who could be the enemy she and her brethren are hunting. Familiar faces are there to help out with Daphne's lack of a love life, such as Benny and her impromptu shopping sprees. Or Daphne can take solace in kicking some vampire-hunting booty, which is a great way to vent. I found this novel to have more humor than the previous titles, even though it's still dark and gritty.

Savannah Russe does a great job of blending the thrilling with the romantic in UNDER DARKNESS as readers are taken on yet another wild ride with Daphne Urban at the helm. Don't be the one left behind!
