Hope Island, Oregon - the Present

Faith McKenzie has just moved to Hope Island hoping it will be more than a pit stop in her never ending nightmare. A nightmare that began two years ago and left her running for her life, unable to remember the past.

Determined to stick it out in her new home, she ignores the call that heralds the arrival of her stalker and accepts a job working for her sexy neighbor, J.T. Wyatt.

J.T. was a detective before opening his security firm, Wyatt Securities. When his late night attempt to return Faith's dog leaves her fleeing in terror, he begins to wonder what she's hiding, and his detective senses begin tingling. J.T. is determined to help Faith, but as he begins to dig into her past, he comes to realize that nothing is as it seems.

Faith is the sole survivor of a massacre that left two people dead. If she is to survive, she will have to face a past she doesn't remember and allow J.T. to help her figure out why she became the target of a deadly killer.

SILENT WITNESS starts off with a chase and sprints throughout the story. The pacing is steady, quick, and inviting. It begs the reader to continue enjoying this engrossing tale. It also helps that the characters are worth getting to know.

Faith has many layers that even she doesn't realize, and they're slowly revealed for the reader as the story progresses. With J.T., you get what you see. He is portrayed as a steadfast, intelligent, and caring man. He never veers from those characteristics, making the reader want him to be the answer to Faith's problems.

The stalker has forced Faith to run several times, and his identity will elude readers. A surprise is in store for those thinking they know who is stalking Faith, whose only connection to the past is her dead friend's cousin and Faith's best friend, Ben.

The suspense in SILENT WITNESS will leave readers flipping pages, yearning to find the answer before the danger explodes. There is no gratuitous sex, and everything is written for a reason. I look forward to reading more from this author.
