Las Vegas, Nevada ~ Present Day
Single and pregnant, Lilli McCall doesn’t need
the stress of strangers knocking on her door looking for money
just because Tony, the deceased father of her baby, left a few
unpaid bills. No, she intends to raise her baby without help from
the powerful and rich DeLuca family. But that all changes the
day Max DeLuca arrives on her doorstep with an offer: sign away
her child’s rights to its father’s inheritance. Lilli
doesn’t want the money and she has no intention of letting
Max into her child’s life. But when it appears that the
mafia is after Lilli and her baby for Tony’s unpaid loans,
it’s up to Max to step in and protect her. And he does this
by moving her into his house.
Max learned early in life not to give his heart to
a woman. It only brings heartache and despair in the end. He’s
immediately suspicious of Lilli’s motives for getting pregnant
and even more of her refusal to take help from him. However, the
baby she carries is a DeLuca and must be protected until the threat
dies down. Max didn’t expect Lilli to bring this feeling
of happiness and contentedness into his life, along with a sudden
desire to make their arrangement into a marriage.
Lilli is as independent as they come, and her refusal
to seek help from the DeLuca family is reinforced as BEDDED BY
THE BILLIONAIRE opens. Tony DeLuca wasn’t much of a person
alive, but dead, his legacy lives on with strangers continually
harassing Lilli for repayment. She’d heard about Max being
coldhearted, and her opinion doesn’t change after first
meeting him. But gradually, as they get to know each other, Lilli
starts breaking down the walls of ice Max has put up. For Max,
Lilli is like sunshine coming into his life. She brightens his
day and makes him want to wake up each morning. Preferably with
her next to him in bed.
However, hanging over Max and Lilli are the circumstances
of the baby’s conception. Lilli thought she knew Tony, but
in hindsight knows she didn’t. It takes her a while to realize
that Max is not Tony, and that Max is a vulnerable man inside.
But Max has Lilli feeling emotions and needs that a very pregnant
woman shouldn’t be having. The chemistry burns between them,
and once they give into it, then BEDDED BY THE BILLIONAIRE sizzles
with sensuality. The ending is somewhat abrupt, but will leave
readers satisfied.
Passion and emotions run high as a billionaire’s
life is rocked by a beautiful woman who shows him how to love.
Don’t miss one minute of Leanne Banks’s BEDDED BY
THE BILLIONAIRE.
