San Francisco, California ~ Present Day
Feeling her biological clock ticking, heiress Eva Tremont is desperate
to marry. When the man she agreed to marry turns out to be a cheating
scoundrel, Eva is beside herself. But when her father’s handpicked
successor, Griffin Slater, makes her a tempting offer to make her baby
dreams come true, she doesn’t know what to do. After all, it was
Griffin who exposed her original intended. Could it be Griffin is after
Eva’s money himself?
Griffin took on a lot of responsibilities when his parents died right
after his eighteenth birthday, forcing him to raise his siblings. But
Griffin has fared well, and his brother and sister are now happily married.
The only thing missing is a wife at his side. Eva is willful and not
afraid to stand up to Griffin -- certainly he shouldn’t be interested
in her or her desire to have a baby? Alas, he is very attracted to Eva
Tremont.
Though they have plenty of money, the rich don’t always get what
they want. Eva wants a child to nurture and is willing to marry any
man to achieve her goal. When her first choice turns out to be a rotten
apple, Eva despairs at ever realizing her goal, and Griffin’s
role in that immediately makes him suspect in her eyes. The fiery chemistry
is there between them, and readers will know she is only resisting Griffin
because she can’t get past her father’s disregard for Eva
as a potential CEO of his company. Griffin, on the other hand, first
sees Eva as a spoiled rich girl, but it doesn’t take him long
to see the hardworking side of her, as well as the sensual side.
Anna DePalo has written a powerful story concerning the needs and wants
of two people and how it brings them together, making them realize how
perfect they are for each other. Once readers start CEO’S MARRIAGE
SEDUCTION, I can predict they won’t want to set it down. The feelings
and emotions of Griffin and Eva shine throughout this tale and make
it one I highly recommend that you take the time to read.
