Nantucket Island, Massachusetts ~ Present Day

It’s a stormy night on Nantucket Island when businessman Jackson Locke opens the door to find a beautiful (and very wet) woman standing on the doorstep. Jackson mistakes her at first for a business associate, then as a gift from his friend and employer, Reggie Wilding. Alone in the mansion that night, sparks sizzle between Jackson and the woman, Lily Harper, ending up with their becoming lovers. But Jackson soon learns the real reason Lily is on the island.

Although Jackson is a savvy businessman, he is wild in spirit and looks, and has no intention of changing. However, with the pending sale of Reggie’s company, Jackson is part of the deal and must have his image updated in order to conform to the new company’s standards. This is where Lily comes in as the image maker. Jackson resists Lily at first, but then brokers a deal with her: She can try to change him as long as she agrees to their remaining lovers during the week they’re on Nantucket. Lily reluctantly agrees, but wonders how long she can resist falling in love with the charismatic Jackson.

One can almost picture Jackson barefoot on a sailing sloop rather than in a high rise office, but he’s managed to forge a stellar career. Jackson’s business reputation has garnered him notice, but his style of dressing might get him fired, and it’s up to Lily to change him. Of course he is resistant. Who would want someone to tell him how to dress? Lily is pretty straight-laced, but Jackson convinces her to let her hair down in exchange for his cooperation.

Lily has the carrot of a lucrative offer placed in front of her by Reggie Wilding if she can renovate Jackson. She’s good at her job, but Jackson proves to be a tough makeover that’s accented by his charm. She can’t afford to get too close to Jackson, but if it means she gets the job done, why not? With this battle of wills between Jackson and Lily, who will ultimately win?

HIS STYLE OF SEDUCTION is loosely related to SINS OF HIS PAST, and readers get to revisit briefly with Kendra and Deuce, the lead characters of that book. But HIS STYLE OF SEDUCTION can be read as a stand-alone, as this tale is totally Lily and Jackson’s. Readers will enjoy watching them fall in love and discovering a lot about each other, and themselves.
